Introduce yourself to our audience, what genre of music do you consider your work to be?

I am Songwriter and Composer. I write lyrics and compose music for both Female and Male artists in all tempos in Pop, Rock, R&B, and Dance. I have a collection of 81 professionally recorded songs (54 for Female and 27 for Male Artists). I also compose the music for the movies. Two of my songs: BROKEN DREAMS and ALONE are featured as part of the movie: Unfit Misfit, by 3 Angels Power Inc. a movie company from Canada. The last year a spin off movie: Summer Rewind and they have featured my songs in the movie as follows: Summer Rewind (theme song); EMOTIONS, IT IS TIME; THE STRONGEST ALWAYS SURVIVE; THE MIDNIGHT HOUR; MOONLIGHT ROMANCE (Instrumental); I’VE TO GO (Instrumental). For the movie Summer Rewind, also, I have composed the background music for the movie.

What and who were your early passions and influences, What inspires you to make music?

In my childhood my music influence was Yugoslavian Folk Music. While I studied at The Political Science University – Belgrade, my music influence was Yugoslavian Pop And Rock Music. When I’ve arrived in United Kingdom in Summer of 1988 and all the way until now, I started to follow English and American Pop and Rock Music. My first main influence, during my studies it was Yugoslavian Rock Bands,, White Button, Early Frost and Sliver Wings, After arriving in United Kingdom, I was impressed with ABBA, The Beatles, Elton John, Madonna, Celine Dion and Britney Spears. A mixture of different cultures (Yugoslavian and English) it was a main reason and influence to try my luck in the music industry. With a lots ups and downs, slowly, I am getting there and hopefully in some near future, my time it will came and my dreams to at least some success in the music industry it will be fulfilled.

Tell us about that one memorable performance and favorite venue which you still wish to happen again?

It was a group concert in Arena “Pinky – Belgrade” in Summer of 1984, where (then) all of my favourite Rock Bands performed together, “White Button, Early Frost and Silver Wings” as well with some other less knows artists and bands. The concert lasted almost 4 hours and I will remember and cherish as long as I live.

Any funny Story of a fuck up during your performance where you handled that situation like nothing happened.

Not really, I am Non-Performing Songwriter and Composer and I prefer it that way.

If you could collaborate with any musicians dead/alive, who would you collaborate with and why?

Elton Joh, Madonna, Celine Dion, Whitney Houstone and Britney Spears, Almost all of my songs I have wrote, when I wrote lyrics and Compose music, I would imagine they are “singing” my songs and most of my current “demo songs” (as far as I concern it would be suitable for those artists above mentioned.

Any Tips to keep the balance between professional and music life?

When I write the lyrics or Compose music, it is some kind of a “fantasy world” where I can escape from all troubles around me. it is the best way to escape from every day’s reality. I would strongly recommend it to everyone. Life it is too short, find something to keep you happy, rather than been miserable, sad and worried all the time.

What has been your biggest challenge as a Musician? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?

Whenever I want to write a new lyrics for the song, my biggest challenge it is to write something new, what I have not written before. Most of my lyrics, I wrote during my summer holidays, in different countries. When I am on holiday (vacation) I take with me a notebook and pencils, I will write the lyrics. In September 2006, we’re in Cyprus, and I run out of ideas what to write about? I tough the best way to solve this problem, will be to have a quick glance over UK, Daily Newspaper (Daily Mirror), headlines and I came across an article about “Gary Barlow” story how he felt “depressed recluse” after (then) his band, Take That, split up. So, that was enough for me details and inspiration to write (most probably) one of my best songs written so far, called: “Depressed Recluse” about “”struggles after fame has gone”. About half an hour later, I wrote “draft copy” of the song. After returning home from the holiday (vacation), I’ve composed the music and then forwarded all details for the song to be recorded by my business partner, a small recording studio in United Kingdom (Diamond Studios) to record a “demo” for the song. If you are still reading , to have some better ideas what I am talking about, I would strongly recommend to find the song (among my other songs) and to listen to the song and then you will have much clear picture about it.

What Tools and techniques you use to improve your singing/instrumental playing?

A few years ago, I bough a “small home recording studio” and I have maser it and I am quiet happy with it, At the moment, I am not looking at any new tools to improve my Composing skills, but, who knows, maybe in some near future, of course all it depends on my financial situation, perhaps, then, I will consider to upgrade (or buy) a new home recording studio.

What type of Gadgets and instruments do you use while practicing?

My own home recording studio.

Would you like to share a testimonial for Guitaa? If Yes, Why do you love Guitaa?

I hope Guitaa, will help me to spread the world about my music career and open new horizons for me. What more people worldwide knew about me, there is always a chance that someone from the music industry will give me a chance and as well, some of established artists and bands will record a new version of my current “demo songs” and help me to move from obscurity and shadows to a daylight and sunshine.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Never give up, believe in yourself and stay positive.
